Strong, Responsible, Transparent Leadership

When elected as your City Councillor, my goal is to ensure that DDO continues to be one of the best places to live, raise a family, and retire. My vision rests on four key pillars:

  • Ensure efficient budgeting and long term financial planning.
  • Protect taxpayers by overseeing spending while maintaining quality services, and avoiding sudden tax hikes.
  • Transparent and consistent communication of city finances to ensure residents know how their tax dollars are allocated.
  • Improve road maintenance, sidewalks, and bike paths with a focus on safety.
  • Ensure snow removal and seasonal maintenance are timely and effective.
  • Support modernization of recreational facilities, libraries, and community centers.
  • Enhance public transit access, including the new REM stations, and advocate for better regional connectivity.
  • Expand green spaces and encourage community gardens and green corridors, preserving DDO’s natural beauty.
  • Support programs to improve waste management and advocate for eco-friendly practices.
  • Champion initiatives for clean energy and sustainable urban planning, keeping our neighborhoods vibrant and healthy.
  • Be a visible, approachable councillor who listens and communicates openly.
  • Create feedback channels making it easy for your voice to be heard.
  • Endorse programs for seniors, youth, and newcomers to foster unity, accessibility and support for all.
  • Strengthen the diversity of DDO’s cultural, recreational, and sports programming.
